Sessions will focus on strengthening cross-jurisdictional cooperation and developing more effective regulatory responses to the rapid transformations within the global gaming and betting landscape.

About 1,300 workers represented by UNITE HERE Local 26 and Teamsters Local 25 unions at Encore Boston Harbor went on strike on Friday after their previous collective bargaining agreement expired on 31 August.
In a statement, Wynn Resorts said the unions chose to strike “despite our continued efforts” to negotiate a new deal. Workers are calling for wage increases, healthcare and pension benefits and job security protections. The casino will remain operational despite the walkout. Workers had voted to authorise the strike on 20 August.

The increase in capacity is also changing how Cubeia organises its development team. The company is experimenting with a rapid-response team focused on smaller customer requests and incidents, alongside another team working on larger projects and the longer-term roadmap.
The current teams have five and eight people, but Grenstad believes they could eventually become much smaller.
“In my dream, it would be two- or three-person teams,” he says.
